US Open: Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry among the late starters at Pinehurst
Shane Lowry has openly admitted that he didn’t bound into North Carolina beaming with confidence.
That’s because of the horror-show of an 85 he carded last Sunday in Muirfield Village. In conversation with Brian Keogh, Lowry discusses how with the ‘great team of people around me,’ he’s hoping to bounce back.
As Keogh mentions in the piece though, Lowry was overhead on the range on Monday telling a colleague “I forgot how f**king hard this place is.”
