Ireland weather: ‘Unusually high tides’ bringing risk of coastal flooding, Met Éireann warns



The weekend will start off dry across the country, but it will remain cloudy and misty in most places, the national forecaster has said.

Rain and drizzle might develop in the east and south later this morning, expected to spread to the west this afternoon.

However, they will become lighter and patchier later in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the west and northwest will enjoy the best of any brighter intervals.

Temperatures will range between 7 to 9 degrees, with moderate to fresh winds.
