Limerick village could be boosted by new take-away tea and coffee service

PLANS have been submitted to Limerick City and County Council, which if they get the go-ahead, could see a Limerick village boosted by a take-away drive through tea and coffee facility.

Described in the application as a ‘container’, it is very much in keeping with the trend for smaller and more portable, mobile take away offerings, which rose to popularity after the pandemic.

The applicant has applied for permission for the provision of a “new coffee/tea take-away container with drive-through capability, new entrance, outdoor paved area, signage and associated site works.”

If granted, it would be located on Main Street, Murroe in County Limerick.
