Mind Eraser
The Mind Eraser cocktail is a variation on the Black Russian with the addition of soda water on the top. The bubbles make this drink. It tastes like a fizzy coffee drink. Although the name suggests a high volume of alcohol that will erase your mind, this drink is actually a lightened up version. It’s not as intense as the name might suggest (20% ABV). The Mind Eraser is a delightfully refreshing drink recipe created in the 1980s. This drink is a spin on the the Black Russian, which was created in the late 1940s in Brussels. Since the ’40s, many variations have been created, including the White Russian, the Mind Eraser and the Colorado Bulldog (which is a White Russian with a splash of cola added).
- Vodka – Choose a high quality, unflavored vodka.
- Coffee Liqueur – Such as Kahlúa or Tia Maria.
- Club Soda – Chilled, to top.
