His brother Paul spoke at the church to remember his only “darling brother.”

He said: “What can I say about my darling brother Aidie.”

Paul continued his emotional address to mourners discussing his love for his club and sport sharing witty stories of his time playing for the local team.

Paul Adrian’s described love of his job and running the family pub with his parents.

BRAVE TRIBUTES FROM FAMILY

Paul detailed how Adrian met “the love of his life” Gemma, who he married in 2014.

He described the couple’s “beautiful boys” as Adrian’s “little army following in his footsteps” and urged them to remember that their dad will never leave their side.

One of his sons closed off his heartbreaking tribute saying: “Goodbye Daddy, we love you Daddy.”

Adrian was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery after the funeral.

The Health and Safety Authority has confirmed it has been made “aware of the incident” that resulted in the tragic death and have launched an investigation.

The father-of-four became the second person to pass away in a work related accident in Co Cavan in less than a week after 17-year-old Reece Donohoe sadly lost his life.

The teenager passed away after an incident at the Wilton Waste Recycling Limited facility at around 4.30pm on Thursday, June 13.
