And Gunner ace love Jorginho, 33, has suggested they wed in Ireland if they don’t wed in his native Italy.

She told The Irish Sun: “We were actually considering getting married in Ireland. We were considering it because he really wanted to get married in a castle.

“He really wanted a traditional fairytale wedding with a castle but when we were looking, we weren’t sure, just because we felt like it might be a little bit cold.

“I don’t know, we weren’t sure, we haven’t decided, it’s still an option.”

Cat ended up living in Tipperary after her parents, who had been based in North London, sought a “bigger house”.

She added: “They had this idea that they really wanted to live in the countryside and have more freedom because they felt London was too dangerous and scary.

“They moved to Tipperary where my nan and grandad were living.”

Cat first made her name in Ireland after appearing on You’re a Star, hoping to win the chance to represent us in the Eurovision.

While taking part in the RTE show she met a producer who lived in London which opened doors for her there.

And in 2020, she appeared on The Voice UK as part of Olly Murs’ team but was booted out in the knockout rounds.

But for now, Cat has stepped back from music to mind the eight-year-old daughter, Ada, she shares with Hollywood actor Jude Law and three-year-old son Jax, with Jorginho.

She said: “I feel now it’s so much harder for me. I’ve two kids and they’re young. My son’s only three and my fiance’s working constantly and his schedule is insane.”

And Cat said he hates it when he has to stay behind for work, which can lead to jealousy.

He added: “If he is in the hotel the night before a game and I am out somewhere performing or whatever, he would be going out of his mind. He’s crazy jealous so it would not be good for us at all.

“It’s kind of that point in life where I’m not going out. And not just for him but also I need to be at home for my kids.

“My daughter’s at school all day and gets back super late sometimes, at 5.30pm, and I don’t want to be out in the evenings for her.

“So it’s kind of one of those things — do I think I will go back to it full time properly? No, I don’t think so, but it’s such a passion of mine that I think it’s something I will continue.”

The couple will appear on Prime Video’s new show, Married to the Game, which follows five women married or in relationships with Premier League footballers.

The partners of Ilkay Gundogan, James Tartowski, Riyad Mahrez and Matt Turner also take part.

Cat initially turned the idea down because she thought it would be a scripted reality show.

She added: “I didn’t want to have to do some sort of fake friendship with someone or anything like that.
